Greetings quarantines! Here is your dose of what’s up, sneak peak, and encouragement…
Another beautiful day. Don't get discouraged brethren, I know it's hard. Just get yourself through the moments - spring always comes, as does the sunrise, as does the next song on the radio. I hope some joy from my workshop works its way in - you're not alone, you are loved, and even the darkest moments pass. These are truths, not the temporary layers of this strange time.
The workshop booms with reggae, mon - Scientist "Dub From The Ghetto" - and the next 7 instruments' wood is planed and ready for trimming & glue-up! 4 SD Curlees and 3 Birdsongs! Now I shift to the final carving & shaping on the Anniversary basses (plus one surprise I'll talk about in a later post) so all of the first round of spring batch builds will be in sanding, finishing, and assembly. These will begin their journey across the same benches. I also have necks to finish up and an hour or so in assembly to look forward to this afternoon. It's a great day. Be at peace, springtime is here. ~Scott
