Happy Friday!

Just thought since it’s Friday, I’d toss a few words up for old times’ sake. Beats a few cookies! It was such a beautiful day, 70 and cloudless, and all day I worked in the little workshop in the woods. Did a little turquoise inlaying, some cutting & joining, there was glue and clamps involved, and it may be “in” with some folks to knee-jerk right in to “Everything that came before ME is irrelevant”-land, but I had Crosby Stills & Nash’s first album cranking where wood is becoming guitars, with the light coming in through the windows, and it felt like springtime all the way through to my soul.

Was never much of a sports fan, though I have aged to enjoy a good football game. Really I’m not lost in any drama about teams and sides; like I was telling someone earlier today, I just want a great game with lots of action, chances taken, and ideally to be WON by some fantastic playing rather than tactically with some guy kicking. I want to see superfans freaking out in the stands, staff yelling from the sidelines, and some attitude on the field. I mean it’s a circus, right? So give me a circus! I'm for any young guy stepping in & stepping up, leading the team to the big game bin his second year, though - that's guts deserving of some glory. So I do hope the Bengals make a good showing. Kid's got balls that clank.

OK, week’s over. Hope you all are navigating alright. Alright? OK. Pics up on the builds page, peeling some glue off my hands, and before we lose the light, I think I’m gonna go fire up the Roadrunner for the first time in months and run it around a bit. I owe a burnout to Meat Loaf anyway. You all take care, stay warm & be cool!
